The objective of this report was to present the findings from an evaluation of the Labour Funding Program's International Trade and Labour Stream and Occupational Health and Safety Stream. The evaluation looked at the extent to which grants and contributions projects funded through these streams are relevant to government and departmental priorities, the extent to which they are achieving project- and program-level outcomes in the short and medium term, and the cost-effectiveness of the funding streams. Evidence was collected through key informant interviews and a review of project files and program documents. Additional findings on the International Trade and Labour Stream are forthcoming in the final report for the evaluation of the stream's parent program, Bilateral and Regional Labour Affairs (anticipated in fiscal year 2017-2018).
